Sierra Vista & Ash Canyon - May 5 thru May 18, 2025

Over the past several weeks, I was unable to go birding due to a slight case of pneumonia.  However, I was able to enjoy numerous birds visiting my back yard and even got a few photos to share with you.

My first day back in Ash Canyon was very windy, but there were still lots of birds around.  My favorite sighting was a Summer Tanager, a bird I rarely see.  He stayed partly hidden behind a tree most of the time he was there, which really wasn't very long.
