In addition to the usual viewing areas all around the sanctuary, I made use of the blind since no one had reserved it. I was surprised how a small change in location presented such a nice change in the birds available.

This was when I moved to the blind. Right away I saw this adult male rufous. And I had thought they were all in Mexico by now. What a beautiful little bird.

Back home, I had a new lifer visit my palo verde tree, a black-throated gray warbler (M).
