Sierra Vista & Ash Canyon - August 19-25, 2023
My palo verde tree continues to draw avian visitors, including the tiny Calliope Hummingbird, little more than two inches long. The Lazuli Bunting, House Sparrow and Say's Phoebe have also become frequent guests.
Ash Canyon Bird Sanctuary still has a large number and variety of hummingbirds, making it a popular spot for both local and out of town birders.
