Sierra Vista (4/30/25) & Ash Canyon (5/3/25)

The Palo Verde tree in my back yard has bloomed profusely this spring, its brilliant yellow flowers attracting a multitude of birds.  More than a dozen species have visited, with Western Tanagers being the most numerous.  However, the tree is so thick it provides very effective camouflage for the birdies, making it very difficult to get good photos.  Here are a few that I was lucky enough to get acceptable images.

Activity at Ash Canyon has continued to be brisk, with quite a few out of state guests.
